Don’t Pick Up is dedicated to anyone who has been touched by addiction. Addicts who are using, addicts who are in recovery, those who love addicts, those who hate addicts. If your life includes addiction, yours or someone else’s, this site is for you.

Don’t Pick Up refers to that next drink, or cigarette, or blunt, or pill, or needle, or cookie or attitude or behavior. Even if your life is affected by someone else’s addiction, you have to put down the co-dependent attitude and behaviors and don’t pick them up again.

I hope to offer intelligent topics, information about 12-step programs, rehab, out patient services and community outreach programs. I welcome input and suggestions.
